Juicy, marbled meat. Perfect for braising. A long cooking time but worth the wait. Weight per ox cheek approx. 800g. The ox cheeks are delivered cleaned.

The cheeks sit on the lower jaw and have a high proportion of connective tissue, so they should be braised for a long time. Rarely found on domestic stoves today, ox cheeks in particular are experiencing a "revival" in Michelin-star restaurants.
