The Friedrich Becker winery is considered by connoisseurs to be the top German specialist for Burgundy varieties; Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. The secret of this success lies in the character of its top locations and meticulous work in the vineyard. Unlike the Friedrich Becker winery, these are not located at the southernmost tip of the Palatinate Wine Route, but in Alsace. Ripe, dense nose with white fruit, lots of white vineyard peaches, white pear, smoke, noticeable toasting from the wood, some yeasty spiciness and rock flour. Showing high intensity and a lot of pressure, quite powerful, but not made up, no excessive jasmine fragrance, no ordinary touch like the Pinot Blanc can sometimes have. Its elegance and homogeneous balance make it the ideal accompaniment to the finest delicacies.
