STORM BREED PROJECT AM
CASPIAN SEA
With a unique project of sturgeon farming in the Caspian Sea, in cooperation with our partners, we have set an exclamation point to secure sturgeon stocks, but also to ensure sustainable trade in this region! The costs we incur as a result represent, in our opinion, worthwhile long-term investments in the future, while creating and promoting the much-needed sustainability of the marine resources in this region!
As early as 2001, sturgeons were reared in the aquaculture farm on the Caspian Sea, on the north-eastern coast of Iran. The Caspian Sea is the natural habitat where over 90% of the world's sturgeon populations live. Approximately 20,000 Beluga sturgeons live in this region on a total area of 70,000 square meters and are intended for breeding and caviar production. In particular, the untouched nature and the optimal environmental conditions in the Iranian part of the Caspian Sea are decisive for the unique quality of our Caspian caviar. A quality that was known decades ago!
